Training and Design Lead

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Community Impact, the Training & Design Lead is a new role responsible for building and growing CAEH’s training and learning design capabilities. This role will take CAEH’s expertise in homelessness — best and promising practices, tools, and systems knowledge — and translate it into clear, well-designed training content that communities, systems, and internal CAEH employees can learn from and put into practice.

This is a builder role. The Training and Design Lead owns the full training lifecycle: designing and developing curricula, building courses for in-person, virtual, and LMS delivery, continuously improving content based on participant feedback and results. Beyond content and delivery, this role helps shape how CAEH’s training offerings are packaged and delivered so they can support CAEH’s objectives while evolving sustainably over time. This role also oversees a team of Trainers as well as Training and Design Specialists — content developers and designers of training materials for CAEH’s service offerings and internal employee training on homelessness technical knowledge.
